    Ahmad Nawar Awad is an esteemed expert and visionary in sustainable development, economic strategies, and organizational change management. With over three decades of comprehensive experience, his career spans many sectors, including energy, water management, and institutional development.

    Mr. Awad began his academic journey at the Higher Institute for Applied Sciences and Technology in Damascus, Syria, followed by studies in mechanical engineering at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) in Paris, France. He further enhanced his educational background with a High Diploma in French Studies from Université de Paris – Sorbonne. He graduated with an MBA from BI Business School in Oslo, Norway, and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

    In consultancy and research, Ahmad’s contributions have been profound and varied, addressing crucial issues like the Water-Energy-Food Nexus, local economic development, and vocational training programs. His efforts have directly influenced policy-making and operational strategies within international organizations such as UNDP, UN-Habitat, and the International Labour Organization.
